The client is an Australian conglomerate specializing in the production of diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), also known as AdBlue, automotive urea, or automotive environmental urea. This fluid is an essential consumable in Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology. The existing production process involved manual weighing, blending, and pouring into mixing reactors—a semi-automated workflow. Due to increasing production demands and rising labor costs, the client requires a fully automated system for the entire production line.

After receiving the client’s requirements and information, Wijay Company conducted an on-site inspection of the client’s factory structure, performed experimental analysis of material properties, integrated the client’s existing workflow and customer needs, and considered the sustainable upgrade of subsequent production lines. Through systematic and scientific analysis of the client’s actual conditions, we ultimately designed a customized, fully automated production system. This integrated solution includes: – A high-purity water production metering system – Urea granule feeding, storage, and conveying metering system – Mixing and reaction production system – Finished product storage – Shipping metering system This enabled the client to achieve fully unmanned production across the entire process, significantly boosting production efficiency.

Wijay Corporation’s in-depth research on materials and extensive technical expertise have successfully addressed the technical challenges posed by urea granules’ extreme hygroscopicity, tendency to agglomerate, and heat sensitivity. Our unique pneumatic conveying technology ensures the entire system operates efficiently and stably. We have helped clients achieve production automation and successfully completed projects deemed too difficult for industry peers to undertake.

System Features:
- Conveying capacity: 18 tons/hour, 100m³ tank, conveying distance: 15 meters, intermediate-phase conveying;
- Raw material area: Ton-bag unloading → Intermediate-phase conveying to storage tank → Storage tank weighing → Screw batching → Weighing tank → Dilute-phase conveying to reactor → Reactor mixing.

Advantages of Wijay Pneumatic Conveying Systems:
- Intermediate-phase conveying ensures uniform material flow, reducing wear against pipe walls. Features low air volume, compact dust removal equipment selection, and minimal energy consumption.
- External bypass enables automatic sequential blockage and pipeline clearing during emergency stops;
- Vibrating hopper base design effectively resolves material moisture absorption and bridging issues;
- Achieves high-precision automatic batching via screw conveyor and weighing systems according to Baodi’s latest formulation requirements;
- Modular design minimizes on-site work, shortens installation time, reduces safety hazards, and minimally disrupts existing production operations;
- Optimized multi-stage dust collection system effectively reduces production environment dust levels;
- Unique patented system design resolves challenges in urea granule conveying, enabling customers to achieve fully automated batch production while saving time and labor costs.
