The client specializes in battery recycling and processing systems. Upon arrival, used batteries undergo testing and deep discharge before being dismantled to the size of battery modules. They are then pulverized into granular form, dried to expel electrolyte, and screened. Recyclable materials—lithium, nickel, manganese, cobalt, and graphite—are extracted for further sorting via magnetic separators, while non-magnetic materials are separated. All materials are categorized into three main groups: “black powder,” copper and aluminum, and plastics. The “black powder” is separated into raw materials for use in manufacturing new batteries.
