Automated Material Handling System for a Graphitization Group

Wherever you use lithium batteries—in smartphones, computers, tablets, or new energy vehicles—you rely on lithium battery anode materials and the driving force of technological innovation. Our partner in this collaboration is the world’s largest and most technologically advanced artificial graphite manufacturer. Wijay constructed a fully automated material handling system for them, encompassing all processes: feeding, crushing, storage, weighing, screening, demagnetization, packaging, and workshop floor dust removal.

This project comprises 8 positive pressure conveying lines and 8 negative pressure conveying lines. The longest positive pressure line spans approximately 670 meters, while the longest negative pressure line covers about 200 meters. Each production line has a conveying capacity of 4 tons per hour. Wijay pioneered the use of positive pressure conveying in the anode material sector to address excessive conveying distances. This solution effectively mitigated customer concerns regarding workshop dust accumulation, while the integrated floor dust collection system significantly facilitated cleaning operations throughout the facility.
